A while back some guys came to us from the local air and space museum asking if we could help them make replicas of a rare airplane tire. Apparently, they are in possession of the only two surviving tires from an old airplane that dates back to before World War Two. They wanted to save the originals and put the replicas on the plane they have on display. We decided to make a plaster mold of the original and cast duplicates in a urethane rubber.
